Volunteer Positions

Pre-Festival Administrative work
We are in need of a few people to work at the station doing clerical work prior to Hills Alive.
 
Promotion
Distribute posters, fliers, and other promotional materials throughout the region. This is all done several months prior to the event.
 
Information Booth
Greet & register Hills Alive volunteers, help answer questions from festival attendees and help answer phone calls regarding Hills Alive. Basic computer skills are a plus for this area.

Sunday night Stage Crew
Loading-out equipment from Hills Alive Stages as festival ends. Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds and follow directions. You will be loading out sound and lights, musical equipment.  You would report at the close of Hills Alive (around 9:30 pm, Sunday) and work with crew until it's finished, which could be 3 hours or so.

 

Pre-Festival Set-Up
Help set up tents and fences, along with other tasks on Friday, in preparation for Hill Alive. These people do not have to set up the stages.
 
Artist Merchandise Sales
Helping sell artist and speaker merchandise. Experience in handling cash and credit card transactions is beneficial.
  

Children's Ministry Tent (15 and older)
Assist in various children's activities including crafts, face painting, balloons twisting & games.  Training provided.

 

Inflatables (15 and older)

Supervise inflatable slides and toys.  This is an area we could really use a lot of help in!
 
Prayer/Ministry
If you have a heart to pray for people and/or lead people to Christ, the Prayer Tent would be a great opportunity for you.

 

Altar Calls

There will be several altar calls and we are in need of people to pray with the people who respond.  This commitment is for an hour or so each day.  Training and tools are provided.
 
Food Coordination
Help with food coordination/service for Staff and Lead Volunteers.  This does not include making food, just setting up and preparing the area to serve and overseeing the serving tables.  If you desire to do cooking or catering for this area, please contact us because we could use you!

 

Bookkeeping/Finanace
Help with bookkeeping at park during Hills Alive.  Need Accounting/bookeeping experience.

  
Parking
Control access to restricted Artist and Staff parking areas.
 
Medical (First Aid)
Doctors, nurses, Paramedics, and certified EMTs to help at First Aid Trailer.
 
Stage Safety/Security (18 and older)
Help maintain order and proper conduct during event, helping keep aisles clear and guide public away from restricted areas. Law enforcement or military background preferred.

 

Tear Down
Help tear down the main stage Monday July 19th post Hills Alive. This is always a big area of need.
 
Professional Services
 Caterer, Civil Engineer, masseuse...... any other professional services not mentioned.
